On a mobile phone, the links between the images and the descriptions don't work (the image isn't at the right, for example).

That small glitch aside, I enjoyed reading through the information. I still have two fountain pens, a ball pen and a roller ball from school days, which are much loved and were in heavy use for some ten years at school and then university. All are the classic stainless steel with blue trim.

Sadly I lost my mechanical pencil, which rolled away on a coach whilst on a university choir trip and was never found. Stupidly, I didn't replace it. Maybe I should get over to eBay to resolve this.

Thanks for the positive comments chaps.

David_W - Unfortunately the website provider software is a bit limited when viewing it on mobile devices. I think I’ll just have to live with it for the time being until it can developed it more.

Darryl, thanks for sharing your Parker 25 info on your new website.

The site really looks great, well designed and great pictures too!

Fascinating, thanks.

Never saw the green version in the shops in the UK either.

I bought a P25 set of 3 in black while I was at school in 1980/81 in the year leading up to my O levels. I got it because I was bored with the hooded nib pen I'd been given by my mother. However, I always gave up with it after a week or two because it never wrote as well as that old thing.. Turns out the pen my mother gave me was a P61, so it's not really surprising the P25 was always vaguely disappointing in comparison.

Regards,

Richard.

Just added a new page to my 25 website as well as various other photos and bits of random info.

Thank you all for your contributions.

A good idea that was suggested is to have some images of boxes that 25's came in. I personally collect the pens and do not have many boxes. Are any of you able to send photos for me to create a new web page?

Kind regards,

Darryl

When I'm done with catching up a lot of domestic Arbeit and some work-related stuff, I'll come back to this! ,

Very nicely put together, great info all in one place. I love these pens. They were not very popular in the US (in LA at least) but I do remember seeing some in use in college days. I now have five FPs that I've managed to snag at decent prices, all black trim models. It was a very well-made little pen. On any given morning, I'll tend to pull out either a 51, 45 or 25 depending on my mood.

Just sent you some pics of Parker 25 boxes.

Let me know if, or if not, you get them.

Thanks Paul for photos.

I'm still looking for any more information on the following;

1. Boxes, types and possible names / styles?

2. Price lists through the years with P25 on? (already have 1979, 1980 and 1990)

3. Origin of orange P25, England or abroad?

Many thanks,

Darryl

The box photos bring back memories.

I kept my Black P25's in their boxes until the black card sleeves outside the boxes disintegrated and the boxes cracked up - PS isn't the best of materials for a constantly used box.

Regards,

Richard
