Pen For Wristwatch?

Morning FPN,

I looked around in the classifieds, and noticed that once in a while there's a pocketknife and such for trade and/or sale.

I am somewhat surprised that no one considered putting up a wristwatch or such for a trade and/or sale.

I think fountain pens and wristwatches go hand in hand.

call me strange and I wont bat an eye.

Regards

Zack

Not strange at all. I'm not a wristwatch guy (I'm currently wearing a Timex Ironman, probably the Pic ball point of watches) but I do see that there is a fair amount of crossover, and I have seen watches for sale in the classifieds here in the past.

Actually, it is "hand and wrist". :lticaptd: However, I don't understand the connection with shaving.

Yes, they go together. Although this scan is approximate to time match. Pelikan 400 with 1939 Bulova. Rotring 600 (1966) with Rotring watch '60's, Parker Vector '80's with Swiss Army early '90's. Black strap is rubber and a replacement for the original in Army brown rubber and not available, or at least I couldn't find it.

It's all kind of elitist. Elitist machismo. What I don't get are the guys buying No Nos to shave off all their body hair. I can't see used shaving gear either.

I think pens and watches go together wonderfully.

i cant get fitting pen or watch to go with the goat however my montblanc go well with my black skagen ultra thin watch, and my green sirated m800 go well with my pinstriped suit i believe thats what the original designer of striped souverans wore and had an inspiration for such design

Damn Rick, you have really perfect taste with those selections! :)

They obviously have a good home with you, and I expect they are being fully enjoyed.

Congrats,
