Modern 149 - Broken Section Repair

Hi all,

Just repaired a modern MB149 on which the section collar was cracked and pieces broken out.

Cut the broken part off just in front of the nib unit threads, and reduced the remaining part to a diameter to 11 mm, till the front of the barrel threads

Made a new HR section and glued it on the stud with 2 components epoxy.

Completely tight, and pen looks as new !

The owner wanted his pen back while waiting, he therefore did not want to send it to Montblanc
