So far, with about 3.25 days to go, I have 4 entries:

For full effect please open this video in another window and proceed!

Now please take a look at these poor homeless pens! Left ruthlessly out to the household elements by their owner.

I'm not sure if the image will actually post! I'm sorry, but it was a blurry picture of my pens spread out on my desk as they normally lie. Anyway the box seems lovely and would be a much welcome way for me to keep things a bit more organized. Thanks for the chance!

Edit: Sorry for the video being posted like that. I meant for it to just be a link. Let me know if I should remove it.

:P It's like showing puppies in dog shelters trying to tug the heartstrings of viewers... "... they don't even get pen cases to sleep in? *Gasp*"

I'll join in. I'm not picky :)

Just let me know which one, the only two real stipulation is you pick one, and if you win it by random drawing you pay for the shipping.

(though if there are some that don't have any one wanting them, I'll announce them for a first-come-first-serve basis on the 30th).

A couple of Blue wraps (the colour bleached out by the flash), Japanese Dragonfly print with 2 different linings - these are examples of the wrap I am offering as a PIF to be drawn on Monday pm. The winner can chose from a selection of Blue fabrics.

Who ever said that some people are creating new accounts to get free stuff on the PIF was correct. I already got one. It's sad but the PIF brings out a nasty side in some people.

Ahh I see you edited. I wouldn't exactly say 'nasty', but rather it does stir up chatter (especially when a 'grail' brand is mentioned), I don't attack people (but if it ever sounds like that, do let me know).

As a reminder there's little over a week left for this one, and the odds are pretty good for the current people on the list (low numbers of people per pen)

Could I enter this in pursuit of the Hero 616?

You can, you'd have a 50/50 chance if you did (only one other person on it currently).

(Future note, I generally prefer PM For entry, I might miss a comment here).

I love the whole idea of PIF, it's great, especially seeing how you end up harbouring things you might never use again, I know I have a few things just lying around. Rather than collect a lot of pens I accumulated a lot of inks since I started using FPs. I went through a period thinking purple was my signature colour, but use it a lot less than I thought I would. I would like to PIF a bottle of Rohrer & Klinger Cassia. It's a 50ml bottle, I've used some but I believe there is at least 40ml left if not more.

As for rules -

I'd like it to go to Europe.

I'm not too bothered if you've recently won a PIF, it's your decision to enter.

I would love a line or two motivating the entry and I'll pick someone I find suitable.

The winner should be announced around the 25th this month.

BUMP

Only one entry so far.

Lamy Al-star Blue (M) - Caran d'Ache Carbon Black

Parker 95 (M) - Iroshizuku Chiku Rin

Cult Pens by Kaweco (mini) - J. Herbin Eclat de saphir

KBeezie, you might like the pen wraps that Lou makes. His username is Trillium here. He made a case that I bought at the Atlanta pen show last year, and has many oriental-inspired fabric choices. I love my wrap.

My first PIF!

I have a Fabriano EcoQua pocket notebook (3.5 x 5.5 inches, dot grid) and a 2-3ml sample of Sailor Jentle Peche.

The notebook was part of a multi-pack I recently purchased, and the ink was a free/bonus/surprise sample in a separate order. I love the paper, not so keen on the ink (not a color I can see myself using at any point). I don't hear much about this paper, and want to share the love :)

It's open to everyone. Enter by PM to me (please include your address) and I'll draw on Friday, April 25 around noon, Eastern time.

Hi all! I am new to the world of FPs, but am already a bit obsessed. It all started a few weeks ago when a dear friend encouraged me to buy a real pen and then surprised me by gifting to me a fabulous TWSBI mini. I also purchased a Lamy Al-Star and have discovered that I am in love!

In these past weeks, I've spent every minute I can spare on this site reading up and learning. This is such a wonderful community, providing welcoming and insightful answers and information. As such a newbie, I can't give much back at this point, but what I do have to give is a PIF!

In my insatiable enthusiasm to explore all things FP, I took advantage of Peyton Street Pens' Sheaffer New Old Stock Sampler Duo, which includes a Sheaffer 440 (c/c) and an Imperial II Deluxe (touchdown). They are blue and are beautiful pens, but I discovered that I am not a fan of fine points AT ALL. I inked the 440, but not the Imperial. It's been breaking my heart to see them sitting in a drawer for the last couple of weeks when they should be fulfilling their FP destiny by being used by someone who can love them.

So, here are the rules:

* Open to anyone in the USA.

* I'd like to hear how you discovered fountain pens and what you most love about them.

* Tell me which pen you want and why -- I'd prefer to have two winners, one for each pen.

* Deadline is Friday, April 25. I'll just put everyone's name in a hat and draw the winner, to be announced on Monday, April 28.

Here's a link to the Peyton Street Pens webpage, since their pictures are much better than anything I could take... :D

This PIF is now closed. The winner is Kella; congratulations!

Pilot PIF--perfect for someone relatively new to fountain pens.

Open to anyone in the US who has not previously won a PIF from me.

What's included?
--A black Pilot 78g
--Medium nib
--Squeeze convertor
--Pilot cartridge to get you started
--One sample vial of your choice of ink:
Waterman purple
Waterman Havana brown
Noodler's red rattler
Noodler's Lexington grey
Noodler's blue
Noodler's air corp blue black
Diamine pumpkin
Diamine sapphire blue

This is a great pen. But I've realized that I haven't been using it much because I prefer pens that are slightly heavier. The body is slightly scuffed from use, but otherwise it is in good shape and it is a reliable writer.

To enter, please send me a PM with:
--your name
--your mailing address
--something interesting about yourself or a note about how you got into fountain pens.

That is one nice looking pen wrap... Embroidered silk?

Now how did I manage to post at reply 3 times?
