I got phone calls and a drop in client.

Sometimes, work gets in the way. Sorry about the use of a four letter word.

This one went to Chrissy

Fountain pens are my preferred COLOR DELIVERY SYSTEM (in part because crayons melt in Las Vegas).

Giving back to the community as well (Yay!), so here is my first PIF.

Additionally, I am an expat living in a foreign country, which I like and which I also would like to promote.

Now, the one company from here that is very popular is TWSBI. But is it really worthwhile? Because everyone can just buy a moderately prized TWSBI from many different places. Are there TWSBIs that you can't get everywhere? Micarta? Sorry, no such luck, don't have the funds.

But, never fear and behold, the 500-series pen that started it all:

I'm giving away a Diamond 530, with an F nib, in box, all original packaging included.

However, filled, used and cleaned one time each. Condition is very good for sure. (I will also include some ink, probably blue)

This PIF is open to everyone. Please send me a pm and let me know why you'd like to acquire this pen.

This PIF will be open for one week, until Nov. 27th, 5 pm PST.

As many of you know the Diamond 530 (not the 540, or the current 580) is the first generation model in this series; it came out in 2010 and has been out of production for a good while. The pen and the process of its creation have a strong connection to FPN and its user base.

Now, I will tell you another thing. I have a second unit of this pen (That one NIB, unopened, also F nib). That one I will put up on the classifieds for trade once the PIF is done. So if you don't win the first one but really want it, you could try and trade me for the second one. Cool?

Oh, here's a photo:

...especially when I know someone that can do magical things to nibs...

So, what's your point?

(Mine is a flexible F.)

Lalalaw...(Art) has been doing some great things with nibs, especially on TWSBIs it sounds like.

Yes, Art does fantastic work. I've been borrowing Amber's Artified 580 and bought one of my own to send to him. The TWSBI is a fantastic pen that has impressed be a great deal. Someone will be very lucky to win mike's PIF!

Can I do a PIF? A bottle of J. Herbin Perle Noire, with ink to the bottom of the neck (about 85% full). Also is a Pilot Metropolitan, without a nib and feed, with a few visual defects on the barrel if anyone wants it in their hands instead of the trash.

If you're in the Continental US PM me why you'd like a bottle of Perle Noire or the pen that fits a Plumix or Penmanship nib.

Thanks guys :D

Nothing fancy here.

I bought this Sustainable Earth notebook in an effort to go cheaper and be kinder to the environment (supposedly) and unfortunately, it didn't work for me. I know some folks like this sugarcane paper, however so thought I'd ask if anyone wants it before it becomes a two-year old's toy.

I'll toss in the translucent green Parker Vector (F) while I'm at it. I haven't used the pen in mumble-mumble years so can't say what it is like. It's a Vector. I'm sure it's smooth enough, just too small for me.

No magic. Just be the first in the Continental US to PM me and include:

-Your name

-Your mailing address.

-The reason why you are the most deserving person in the universe for these outstanding items--in fifteen words or less. Or you can just tell me you're happy to take this off my hands so it is put to good use. :D

Taken. Thanks much for looking.

Best,

KC

Package arrived last night. and here is a bit if a writing test in my not so good hand writing. I don't have all my pens with me today so I have some inks i can't test. WIth my limited testh here it looks like this paper really like wet inks. And the sport writes like a dream on this stuff.
