[During purchase, you will have multiple choices of pen] body color, and multiple choices of cap color to match your ink color of the day. [You color coordinate.] Caps will be marketed and sold separately and will of course work with Safari (and Al-Star) pre-2014 models.

Wow ! That's zen-deep. I am humbled before great LAMY-ism.

Since Hero did their look alike, one can be assured that Lamy WILL NOT release a purple Safari in 2014.

(edited to change the word I first used to "look alike")

How about tortoise / red tortoise / Etc. and smoke swirl patterns!

I have a custom made pipe that has a Santa Red over Ebony stain on the briar and a Red Tortoise stem. The tortoise is killer & I'd like a mate for it.

New models are usually announced at the annual Paperworld trade fair. The next Paperworld fair starts on 25th January.

Ach, Burns Night - should be tartan then, do ye ken? Or, slightly more disturbingly, haggis-coloured...

Cheers, Al

How about a brown one? Never seen one virtually one of the only colours I can think of they haven't done one in.

I have to admit that while this is true, it also makes me very sad. I might have to buy the Hero just for the color.

I was thinking brown, also. Maybe a really gorgeous chocolate-milky sort of color. Grey or periwinkle would be nice, too. Actually, the latter would be frickin' gorgeous.

They're on a neon kick still I would wager... I'm hoping for neon orange or neon purple. They've done yellow green and pink... there just aren't that many highlighter colours left.

Really dont caer about the color... But I really miss black clips and nibs!

A vista with black garments would be something to consider...

No, that's not the 2014 annual colour. Pink was the annual colour for 2009 which was re-introduced for a period in 2010 due to demand. A revised pink Safari (black cap end, not pink like the original) was launched in some export markets last year but as of this month (January 2014) it is now a standard catalogue colour.

Lamy has not revealed its 2014 Safari colour yet. Source: Lamy sales employees (who didn't know either).

I just received an email from The Coln Gallery... and apparently the new Safari is pink. The email calls it 2014 pink.

Another pink? :gaah:

I love pink pens but if Lamy is releasing another pink Safari, my Safari obsession will die of an overdose.

No, that's not the 2014 annual colour.

HTH,

Martin

Thank you.. this is music to my ears :bunny01:

Let the speculation continue..

I am hoping for a nice blue or orange safari and a red colored clip
