To my eye this looks quite like Diamine Rustic Brown.

I really enjoy this color. It isn't the most practical and seems to take a while to dry for me, but I love the shading and the reddish brown.

Have this ink but haven't even opened the bottle yet. Looks nice but not in love with the drying time!

Thank you for another great review. I tried this ink years ago as part of the ink sample exchange, and it reinforced to me why it's best to try an ink before buying a bottle. I found that I didn't like it much.

I love brown inks. Currently I'm using Waterman's "Absolute Brown" and Sheaffer Skrip "Brown," but at some point I try Noodler's Beaver.

wow. i didn't expect to see this much red shade in this brown ink. so much so that i would have easily thought of it as burgundy.
