Help Needed, Information And Identification Of Watermans

Hey everyone, I'm brand new to this forum. I found you guys searching for information on Waterman pens.

I found two Waterman pens while cleaning out an office in our basement. They are both in the original case and appear to be lightly used, if used at all. One came with a labeled box, so I know its a Le Man 100 Black Rollerball. post-105571-0-07163800-1374717579_thumb.jpg, post-105571-0-58593000-1374717584_thumb.jpg.

The other pen was found in its blue case with no label so I'm not sure which model it is. post-105571-0-49723500-1374717588_thumb.jpg, post-105571-0-91390800-1374717592_thumb.jpg

If anyone could help me identify the mystery pen it would be much appreciated. Also I'm probably looking to sell both of these pens, so if anyone could provide the approximate value of each that would also help greatly. I realize it's probably difficult to do so without seeing the pen in person, so best estimates will do nicely.

Please see the pics attached and thanks for your help!

Thanks for your help. Do you know the name of the color of the Expert, it kind of looks like a marble red. As for ebay, I'm having trouble finding consistent pricing. Only one rollerball in the Le Man model has sold recently for about $150. I feel that price might be a little low as I've seen others listed from $375-475 in used and new condition.

I cannot really tell from the photo, but might not the rollerball be a smaller Man 200, (I do accept the labeling says 100, and the photo might be throwing me) ? The other is an Expert. I'm jealous !

appreciate the help

what I'm most interested in now is the value...ebay has been relatively unhelpful based on the limited results

Yes, Expert model or version 2. It is listed in a 2001 catalogue as Oriental Red. It looks like a pencil which was numbered 30022.

The value of the rollerball will not be answered here. DON'T use the values placed on pens by Monty on ebay as they are not, in the main, realistic.

You are obviously here to obtain their correct descriptions and BIN value for auction purposes. All you can do is list them and see what you get....after all you only found them.

thanks for the info....it looks like the mystery pen is definitely an Expert II in Oriental Red, I pulled out the cartridge and it too is a rollerball

right now I'm on the fence as to selling either, the Le Man 100 is clearly a more valuable model as it is no longer manufactured..it looks like what I have most recently sold for $150 on ebay...if that is all I can expect I'll probably hold on to it for the time being, but I guess with eBay it all depends on who's looking at what time

you wouldnt happen to have any recommendations as to other Pen related forums, not necessarily fountain alone?..I also came across a Japanese Tombow pen that was discontinued years ago and would like more info on this as well

thanks again

That don't 'alf look like a pencil lead unless it is a fibre refill but if it is a rb then the number is 40022.

As for the Japan pen, post some pics over in the Japan forum.
