You know what? I kind of love this ink.

It's dark and rich and lush, which is everything I want in a green.

It behaves well and looks GREAT on Rhodia dotPad paper. The shading is so yummy!

There is a nice sheen, but it isn't that frequent or common, and usually you have to blow up a picture to really be able to see it. Still, the underlying sheen where it pools makes it look layered and thick. It's part of what makes this ink so fetching,.

Yes, it certainly is a wonderful green. I've not used it for a while - must remedy that situation.

Thanks for the great review. I love this ink (i still have some of the old 30 ml bottles where the name was Sherwood Forest). It's my daily ink at the moment. DIamine makes some great green inks but this one is my favorite (along with Evergreen).

Looks 'professional' enough to use as a change from formal blues in a work context.

Currently in a refilled cartidge in my brown Parker Urban Premium as my main work pen. With that pen's wettish medium nib there's no shading, and the colour is too dark to use as a green when green is specified (I use Ultra Green instead!)

My bottle arrived yesterday. I'm very picky about green inks, and this is as close to 'perfect' as I've come. Diamine Green-Black is my other favorite. This one is more true green, still dark enough for use in note taking and journal writing.
