My Personal "vintage" Montblanc Collection

Hi all Montblanc lovers !
Seeing all your beautiful Montblanc collections,i wanted to share also my personal collection
Attached a picture of my "actual" vintage Montblanc collection.
As you will see on the picture, i've restricted myself to piston fillers.
Being a mechanical design engineer, I'm very much impressed by the unique telescopic filler on the 13X and 14X series.
This system is extremely beautiful and clever designed and I can't get enough of it !
Bringing such a beauty back to life is so rewarding, I really love to work on these pens.
I bought 2 of these with cracked/ split barrel threads, and on one of them the barrel was cracked at the filler side.
But with patience and tender love and care I was able to restore them all.
Hope you enjoy....
Francis

Wow, such a wonderful collection. Thanks very much for sharing those pictures. I especially love the striated celluloid models.

nice collection Francis  thanks for sharing

Pens are like watches , once you start a collection, you can hardly go back. And pens like all fine luxury items do improve with time

Awesome collection. I may be ignorant here, but do you find it easier to find vintage/hard to find pens living in Europe?

In order to appreciate the sweet, you must truly taste the bitter....

I'm very sorry, but it seems I can't attach the pictures directly anymore, although it works perfectly on other sites....

I've add a second direct link, does this work ?

I would be grateful is one of you could post the picture directly, unfortunately i'm rather clumsy with computer stuff....

Francis, thanks for posting this. FYI, the 2nd link works fine, but I'll repost the picture here for everyone's enjoyment. (Now THIS is what I want my collection to look like...once I win the lottery, that is. MB 139s don't come cheap! ;) )

Thank you all for your kind help in posting the picture directly !

And yes, prices of the 139 went up dramatically lately.

I've just seen an Ebay Germany listing with an asking price of 4400.00€... which i could surely not afford !
