Another shout out to cool-japan on ebay, who sold me this ink that I totally love! I was so happy to find a reasonably priced and easy to deal with place to get the Kobe inks. :D

I really rambled in this ink review, mainly because I was thrilled to find an ink that got even close to approximating the Sailor LE Tokiwa-Matsu. This is medium green that slides into dark green in the places it shades.

It is perfectly behaved on all paper ...

... and is just generally an all around amazing ink! I just wish it had some sheen. Still, this is a beautiful ink that I'm happy to have for when my five bottles of Tokiwa-matsu runs out. :D :D :D

How would you compare it to Sailor Jentle Epinard? Looks similar but slightly lighter?

Here's a link to a SUPER helpful green ink comparison by geoduc. The second image in the post has this Kobe ink very closely listed to Epinard. It shows that it is slightly lighter and lacking in sheen, and in my experience, it's more chalky (not that I particularly mind that). On my screen, the colour swabs are true to life, though the text for the Kobe ink is lighter than how it has been for me

very nice color  looks close to private reserve avocado green

Pens are like watches , once you start a collection, you can hardly go back. And pens like all fine luxury items do improve with time

My first thought when I saw this ink, was ooooo..... I bet GeoDuc would like it. Thanks for the review and the ink.

Fountain pens are my preferred COLOR DELIVERY SYSTEM (in part because crayons melt in Las Vegas).

How does it compare to Herbin Vert Empire (a green ink I'm starting to like more and more)?

"It's very nice, but frankly, when I signed that list for a P-51, what I had in mind was a fountain pen."
