Colorful set. Why does the clear sport look different? What did you ink them with?

I'm going to take a guess and say that the colorless one has a short cartridge while the others all have handmade squeeze converters (a rubber sac attached to a cut down cartridge).

The clear sport is the only one I have 'inked' at the moment - the rest of them - the ink cartridge is sitting at the bottom :) Just dip inked the rest of the nibs to test them :), but they are really beautiful - love them and wish I had bought them sooner (as one other forum poster said earlier on in another post lol)

I am just going to syringe fill the cartridges on this set of pens - the convertor doesn't seem to be available in the UK yet - I can't find them anyway (?) - just been nosing at youtube videos on converting them to an eye dropper, but also seen loads of comments with problems when doing this so probably won't bother

I could easily be wrong on this point, but I don't think a converter is "available" anywhere for these.

Check out this thread for an easy way to make one.

Nice set!

You do realise that so as not to antagonise the CDO folk on here that you are going to have to ink them according to pen colour as well dont you! :roflmho:

I use mine as an eyedropper but I did put some silicone on the threads to help secure it.

Yes I know - although I was trying to think of what ink to put in each one - ;) - already have a red, orange, brown (which is in the clear one), green, blue and black... need to find a decent yellow though oh and a pink ... lol

Go to the Writing Desk and check out their ink comparison things, or Goulet.

Diamine do a nice yellow.

It might actually make the pen look dull

Even more useful is the one you didn't find

In this one, I mentioned the supplier who lists them as in stock:

Kaweco Sport Converter available

BTW: The clear Sport second from left in the OP is a Classic, with gold trim and gp nib, not an Ice, with silver trim and steel nib, which is why it looks different.

I tend to go a bit overboard and like buying sets of pens (if affordable) - ;)
