The Deccan Envoy Ed, A Few Pictures

The Envoy is a medium sized ED pen, smaller than the Ambassador and much larger than the Bullet.

 

I found two colors, brushed Bottle Green HR and Brushed Black HR

Initially they had used the flat clip with the "Ritter" nib. The Ritter nib unfortunately was utterly poor and I had Deccan change the nib out to their own brand Broad point nibs. I think the pens now look much better with the replacement nibs and the ball clips suit the pen's shape better.

Thanks! Yes, an Asian broad line. I would call it a western medium. It is the same nib as fitted to the Author, I have some writing samples of this nib in my review of the Author:

I particularly like the brushed finish on the green ebonite, and the contrast with the smooth section and finial. But I think I prefer the original clip - though the new nibs are much nicer, as you say.

I think Deccan will make a fully smooth version if specially ordered. These pens were purchased by me across the counter, stock items.
