Toguchi Pens In Okinawa

Hi Everybody,

 

I'm a new member here--influenced to join by the booming discussion of pens over at Badger & Blade. I'm looking forward to learning more about things here!

 

Does anyone know anything about Toguchi Pens in Naha, Okinawa? Apparently it's a small shop that's been making custom fountain pens for a little over fifty years. I just came across a reference to it in a web search and read somebody's blog about his visit there. I'm in Okinawa for a while, so I thought I'd go down and see what the shop is like. Has anybody been there before?

I have no information about a shop in Naha, but wish I could help you. Although it was as long time ago, I lived there for 3.5 years, so I would be very interested in learning more about this shop and if they ship to the states and if they have pictures of their pens ... well, that would be fantastic!!

I stopped by this shop yesterday, selection was small but the owner was great to chat with. If in Naha I would recommend stopping by.
