Sorry, my scans are a bit fuzzy for some reason; hope most find it adequately readable.

I don't know why this second page wants to be bigger than the first page!:P

Nice review! As another lefty, I like Diamine inks a lot and find them wonderful. IME, the Noodlers waterproof inks are better wrt drying than the nonwaterproof ones.

Very interesting! Great color. I need more Diamine inks.

I don't have a big smudge problem with Noodler's, except for Nightshade as I recall, but PR drives me crazy.

I really like that color! Is my monitor off, or is there the tiniest bit of blue in that green? If it looks in "real life" like it does on my monitor....then I have found a color I am just going to have to have!!

p-zero, to my eye there seems to be blue, but it is as you say - a "tiniest bit."

southpaw, Now that you mention it, I don't think I've had the smudge problem so much with the two blue waterproof Noodler's that I have - but I've also only used them in a dry writer. Hmmm...

sonia, I have to watch the dry time because I'm one of those left-handers who can't write without dragging her hand across the fresh ink. So the fault is more mine for being left-handed than Noodler's for being wet. B)

that looks really appealing to me, too. I'll be running out of squeteague before too long. The more I use Diamine inks, the less I bother with others. Though I did buy a bottle of Noodler's WP black for use with my checks when I get them.

Mmm certainly a pretty green indeed. sorta reminds me of diluted version Noodler's Aircorp's Blue-black, but a little more vibrant. nice review.

Found a negative about this ink - I guess I should have looked at the other side of the paper when I did the review, because there's a bit of bleed through. Not too much as to be unreadable, but enough to annoy me. I wrote a letter last night and used two pages Rhodia, two pages of Clairefontaine - both had the problem, and this pen isn't particularly wet - was writing a bit drier than it was when I did the review, in fact, so I didn't even have to worry about smearing.

Good review, Vanessa. Looking at the color, I was just thinking "this ought to match her pen--it looks teal"--then you mentioned it farther along. Glad it does match! Also, glad to know that if I wanted forest green that this wouldn't be the ink to order, but if I wanted teal it would be a good bet.

Thanks,

Ann

I think either my monitor is way off or I'm the only colorblind female.

This looks very blue to me, slate blue with maybe a hint of azure. not green..( I do love the color though !). The green  smiley shows up a bright green though.. I'm confused !

i'd call it a teal with grey undertones. darker and bluer than Umber but similar in shading.

That's how it looks to me as well.

I'm a big Diamine fan, and especially like that the inks are so distinctive and rich, yet still manage to shade so beautifully. They also seem to be relatively untemperemental in the way they dry quickly and don't clog feeds. I thought I'd found my ideal green in Diamine Umber, but this is a terrific colour. Will have to be part of my next order ...

:) The stuff (Diamine Inks) is quickly becoming an addiction for me.

Vanessa, I just got your letter written with the Dark Green and I think it looks great, I might just be tempted to get a bottle. It's much more what I had hoped the Emerald would be.

corien, what KCat said about the color. It's definitely more green than blue.

carrie, glad my letter made it (pretty quickly!). I also have the Emerald and was disappointed - not a horrible color, but it's definitely not emerald... kind of reminds me of grass stains.*

*edited to add: not that I mean that to disparage Emerald Green - I did decide I liked it, once I got over the initial surprise that it wasn't "emerald."
