FS: Pilot "Ultra" Super 500 FP w/Rolled Gold Cap!

Labor Day Weekend greetings from DocNib's PenEmporium! Back on the sale block again (funds needed!), one very cool item from around 1960, a very hard to find Pilot Ultra Super 500 with a 14K Rolled Gold cap in an engine-turned design. I traded for a bunch of Japanese pens & pencils many years ago and this is the 2nd one to come out of that batch, take a look...

This beauty features a beautiful inlaid "Fine" nib (which writes more like a Medium!), a spring-loaded over the top style clip, a black resin over brass barrel and an internal "switch-filler" system inside the barrel (aerometric type). The "switch-filler" depresses a rubber sac inside a metal tube when you push the switch up and sucks the ink inside like an aerometric filler when you release the button back to it's original position (neat system!).

Cap, nib/grip section and barrel are in excellent condition with just some minor scuffing on the grip area, no visible dents or dings...whoever owned this beauty took very good care of it! No box or instructions but a very scarce & hard to find pen just the same (rarely see these come up for sale!)...
