Thanks for the review. I like Prussian blue. Most people think it's to grey but that's what i like about iy. Most greys lool like washed out blacks to me and the bit of blue is what makes Prussian blue interesting to me.

That looks like a nice, restful blue and certainly an ink appropriate for business use (colorwise; don't know if it has any water resistance or bulletproof qualities).

I came here for the pictures and stayed for the conversation.

Nice but I like the PR DC Supershow Blue SO much better... it's so rich and vibrant! The Diamine looks faded and washed out IMHO in comparison.

Loving Mont Blanc and everything fountain pen!!!!!!!!

Thanks HenryLouis,

Building up the inventory of ink reviews is a positive contribution. Your second photo looks like it was taken though a microscope. You must have a camera that cost more than my most expensive pen.

I'll get back to ordering the Prussian Blue and the Washington DC Blue if it's still in existence after I write through some of my other bottles. That gray/blue is a very attractive look. However, I'm currently besotted with ink after a visit to NYC pen shops and having taken full advantage of the current the Ebay seller twoguysfrombrooklyn 1/2 price sale on Noodler's and Private Reserve inks.

Once again a nice review, Henry!

I did get some samples of PR-DCSSBlue from an FPN forum member and a good friend of mine now.

It's a gorgeous, bright, and vibrant blue ink.

Alas it's not even the least bit water-resistant, in my wash-tests of this ink, can't even handle tiny water droplets without some DCSSB bleeding into the surrounding areas.

I was going to blend some Polar Blue "bulletproof-Eel-freeze-resistant", along with some smaller amount of DC Supershow Blue, just to see what I get.

Been a long, exhausting day here and just wasn't feeling up to blending a new mix today.

When I'm feeling better, I'll be sure to post a review of that blend so you can see what it ;) looks like and how well [or not] it stands up to my intensive wash-testing!

TTYL, Henry, going to grab some late dinner before I pass out from not eating all day.

See you soon, most likely tomorrow when my wife is at our church and I'm "Home Alone".

;)

They flow across paper as a brush to canvas, transforming my thoughts into words and my words into art.

Agreed but it's different so that's why I sort of like it.

It does go on very grey but the blue shines as it dries.

This review has settled it: my next ink order is going to include at least one bottle of this.

I think it's really a beautiful color, and I can't wait to try it in a medium.

Thank you for another great review!
