Private Reserve Spearmint

I wanted a green-green since all I had before was British Racing Green which at first glance almost looks black until you look a bit closer. I also bought DC Supershow Blue, but that has enough reviews already. I didn't find one for Spearmint so I made one.

A little disclaimer - this scan is slightly off from the actual color, but I couldn't really alter it very well so this is it.

Good review John! I hope you'll do more of them.

I've got this ink, and on my monitor the color of your scan is VERY close! Thanks for the review.

Fair enough! My other favorite green ink color is Noodler's Gruene Cactus. I'll do a review on it soon. :)

Oh, BRAVO!! :D Great review and great writing!! Now you HAVE to make a review of every ink you own, whether or not there are already 3 of them on FPN reviews.

I had a vial of this ink, and it was just a little too bright/brassy for me, but I really like the way it looks here. That italic nib really shows off the color nicely. I may have to rethink my opinion on this hue!

Thanks for posting this - I am looking forward to more from you.

Thanks for all of your nice comments and such. When I do this type of review again, should I make the picture smaller or is the size ok?

I think the size is great. I have to scroll a little to the right, but I would rather see it this size than smaller. Seems like the color is better when the page is full size!! Probably just my imagination though.

I am writing with this ink "write" now in a 1941 Parker Vac (green, 'natch) and, as always, lovin' it! The nib on this pen is medium-fine, and the ink dries to nearly the same color as an actual spearmint leaf -- a more dark than "light" green. A very nice, well flowing and consistently colored ink.
