Writing sample in aged/thickened Sailor black cartridge ink
Fragments of a 300dpi scan of a writing sample on Rhodia DotPad 80g/m² 5mm dot grid paper with a Sailor Professional Gear Imperial Black edition pen with a ruthenium-coated 21K gold H-F nib, using Sailor black ink from a cartridge that was installed into the pen almost nine months earlier.
The ink has thickened considerably in that time, but the pen still wrote with no hard starts, when uncapped for the first time in several weeks.
