Flag badges/pins

Each of these badges depicts flags (obviously).

More-specifically than that, all of the flags depicted here (except one) is a member of the class of flags that one is allowed to fly in England without having to first get ‘Planning Permission’ from the Local Authority (borough/county/city council, or National Park Authority).
There are many others too; there are lists of the categories of flag that ‘do not require consent’.

But England is not the USA - if you wish to fly some flags (those not included in the lists of flags that do not require consent) outside your home/business here you are, strictly speaking, legally required to obtain explicit consent from the Local Authority first.
