Are you sure that your Skyline has got Quink ‘Blue/black’ in it?

It has absolutely no ‘blue’ in it at all!
I could believe that the ink is Parker Quink ‘Black’, but I have never seen Quink ‘Blue/black’ look that colour.

 

Then again, I have only ever had it in modern cartridges. Is your ink by any chance from an ancient-&-venerable bottle from, say, the 1950s?

I was not entirely convinced either. I was going by my fill list and previous entries in my journal. It was end of fill so I suspect either reaction with previous ink onyx black. That or saturation increase due to dehydration/ evaporation.
