Parker Duofold Junior made at Newhaven in the 1960s.jpeg

Mercian

An aerometric-fill English/Newhaven Parker Duofold Junior, made some time in the 1960s.

I think that it has a ‘Medium’ nib. It may have a slight amount of ‘springiness’, but it is not a ‘flex nib’ that allows a huge range of variation of line-width.
I am, sadly, way too ham-fisted, clumsy, and impatient to be able to use those 😔

I have bought this pen because of its simple, wide-channel, ebonite feed, and its reliable and long-lasting filling system.
I intend to dedicate it as my pen for use with ‘ESSRI’ (Ecclesiastical Stationery Supplies Registrars Ink), which is the ‘heavy-iron-gall’ blue-black recommended for use by HM Passport Office and Registrars here in the UK.
