That's a very nice collection of pens! I have a few old pilots, a few you have here. But my favourite writing pen is the Super80, it has a semi-flex nib with quite a bit of variation. It creates a beautiful line, for a very unassuming pen!

Thank you for the kind words, @RobHarding!

Thanks also for sharing your favorite. I don't have a single favorite, I am very happy with all these pens. It's also the case that I use them for drawing, and I find it a nice challenge to adapt to the instrument. Maybe I've been influenced by this community of pen-lovers to just like them all.

Overall, I find the feeling given by these sixty-seventy year-old nibs simply wonderful. Good flexibility, soft touch, diverse tipping, they're all great. 😃

Diversity of nibs, that's something we miss with modern pens; they are all alike (good, but not much more). One of my favourite things is buying one of these japanese pens and seeing what type of nib they provide. I have multiple Pilot Super 80 pens but each is completely different even though most of these tiny nibs are fine (flexibility or cut).

Excellent point! Makes me wonder why we're paying so much for new pens that offer much less diversity and feel to the writing... I just find these pens very appealing and great in practice.
