Thanks. It's a leather covered Platinum, I guess from the 1970s. A wonderful writer - a joy to use. 

An absolute beauty of a pen, and it writes wonderfully as you say. Enjoy it!

@PithyProlix, I'm wondering how to use such pens. (I have a couple, in different patterns.) Do you wear drawing gloves or any other protective gear when you do?

Naw - I just use like I would any pen and all my pens, except for a couple, get used. While I don't abuse them, no kid gloves for my pens. Let them live their lives and do their jobs like they are supposed to and come what may. (That said, I don't pay much for my pens. This one was the equivalent of about $14 USD, for instance.)

I don't know if I could name them. I have these two:

Ah, both Platinums. Does the top one have a cream colored section like mine?
