Unfinished Landscape

I like it as it is. My only addition would be something on the road, river, or bridge to give a sense of proportion. the trees do supply some proportion, but they can vary greatly in size.

I had thought about maybe a horse and buggy on the bridge, but your comment gave me the idea that maybe a rowboat on the river might be better. I had also thought about a larger tree in the right foreground. I will experiment with some ideas over the holiday weekend using tracing paper to test and post any revised painting when done.

My first thought was similar - a mounted horseman on the bridge or in the field.  I do like it as is, though!

I have to be careful with the size of whatever I add. If I mess that up it will ruin the painting. 

I like your idea of a horseman. It’s either going to be a horseman or a rowboat.
