I'll wait for a few more weeks but unfortunately I cannot hold on for too long. My cashflow situation doesn't allow me to do this.

I've noticed that the pens advertised have a number indicating 'in stock', like '98 in stock'. '83 in stock' etc. What exactly does this mean? Does it mean pens already bought and paid for? Or does it mean pens still available to buy?

It means pens stil available to buy - we have entered the maximum number of pens we could buy based on the votes, provided everybody pays up fast enough.

After we put in the manufacturing order with Stipula, which we can only proceed with once enough paid for orders from individual members have been received, there still is a 60 day period required for the actual manufacturing.

Just wanted to extend my thanks to Wim and the other FPN Admin team members who are working so hard to get these pens made for us.

 

For those of you who have made a committment to buy, please try to pay as soon as possible. I am in between jobs myself, but I ponied up the money for my Passaporto weeks ago, so I am sure you can do the same if you have already made the committment to buy. It isn't pleasant asking people to pay up, but I thought the vast majority of the pens (if not all) would have been pre-paid by now.

I have put in a bid to buy one of each kind. I hope all are made! Is there another way of doing more advertising, because just having the announcement on the side, I bet, is not enough. We need a thread that appears high on the list of "Recent posts" as well as one on the "For Sale" section. How about the latter, Wim?

We are about to do this type of thing and more, like emailing all who put in a vote and didn't order their pens yet. I think the new colums etc. will be done by tomorrow. Someone offered to help out with all of this, which is very nice indeed.

Great! I think this will work. I also really like that you are updating the graphs - that helps us see how close we are to our goals (I wonder if many people voted for the Etrurias but had no intention of buying one...)
