Hallmark wood BP refill adapter sought

Does anyone have an idea where I can buy a ballpoint refill adapter for a 1980's Hallmark wood pen? The adapter lets you use Cross BP refills in place of the now extinct Hallmark model. Any help will be greatly appreciated!

I found this on the Canadian Hallmark site. I just called in for mine.

I have a Hallmark pen that needs a refill.

Refills for the Hallmark pen are no longer available. Please call 1-800-268-3230 and ask a Customer Service Representative to send you a free adapter for your pen to enable you to use name brand refills in your Hallmark pen. U.S. consumers please call 1-800-HALLMARK (425-5627).

This is GREAT information. But I have a question. How do I get the "original" cartridge out of the pen? I was able to pull the cap off to reveal the cartridge but how do I remove it?

Cross refills fit with the adaptor available from Hallmark. Look on Hallmark's website and request the number of adaptors you want and they will mail them to you. another excellent company and all US.
