This is the second time that I post asking you kindely to advise me about how to dis-assemble a jorg Hysek fountain pen. Many thanks for being patient and I hope that someone will help.

You have most likely not gotten an answer because there is no one here who knows what the pen looks like or it's filling system..

A picture of the pen might help a bit along with some history of the pen

These are rare pens, it would be helpful if we had a picture and description of the filling mechanism.

Also, what do you wish to dis-assemble: the section from the body, the nib from the section?

Here is an image. There is a screw inside the barrel that I undid and nothing happened. The section screws to a a metallic sleeve inside the barrell similar to a waterman Liaison. I hope that helps.

Nice looking pen, have not seen before though - so be careful in applying what you learn here - what exactly are you trying to accomplish by disassembling the pen?. If it needs to have better ink flow - you may flush it.

Generally - cartridge fillers cannot be Knocked out (in this procedure the feed and the nib are pushed out from the ink sac side - which is the classic way of disassembling). Some other procedures are such as applying electrical tape on the nib and pulling it out with traction. Some pen nibs disasmble by unscrewing from the section (the nice shiny metalic part in the picture above).

For all the above mentioned methods - it is well advised to soak the pen in warm (not hot) water to loosen any ink that may be sticking the parts. Also note pens generally dis assmeble better when they are warm. Also note other things that help get a better grip on parts are - rubber gloves, and rubber shelf liners, there are also certain pliers - but unless you plan to work on a lot of pens that is excessive.

Now coming to this pen specifically - I would mark the relative position of the nib, the feed and the section with an alcohol soluble marker - (usually called permanent marker - but is not so permanent) Please do not use it if the section is plastic. Use only on metal. I would soak it in warm water for a good hour (not hot water - because that may deform parts). I would then dry the nib part and try to take that out using tape traction. There is a chance it will work, when the nib is out - the feed will be looser and be able to come out easier.

The dangers in this process are - mainly breaking the feed ( I have done that) and thus the pen is history.

Good luck and keep us informed. I am sure someone else will also give feedback here.

Nothing is wrong. I want to replace the carbon fiber body with another one that is not cracked. The nib is amazing and all is well except for taking the Carbon off!
