Raffle in Memory of FPN member Mishellereine:

 

At the Colorado Pen Show (Oct 11-13), the Colorado Pen Posse will be holding a raffle in memory of our pen friend Mishellereine, an active member of the Colorado group who frequently helped organize events and who died this spring. All proceeds will go to her family.

 

We've received AMAZING donations (including many from members of the Colorado group and many from favorite pen & accessory retailers), which are being bundled together into at least 8 baskets (each worth approx. $150–$250) that will be raffled during the pen show weekend. Items include handmade pens, customized nibs, limited edition inks, bags and accessories, papers, and more.

 

Multiple drawings each day! Tickets: $5/ea or $25/6. Winner must be present.

Whether you knew Mishellereine here, on Instagram, Facebook, Slack, in person or not at all, we hope that members of the Colorado pen community will consider supporting this fundraiser and honoring her memory—and her enjoyment of pens (particularly purple ones)!

So far, so fantastic! Great feedback from attendees and exhibitors; 3 nibmeisters, many wonderful new pens and accessories, a terrific educational program, and help from our Colorado Pen Posse getting the show off to a great start!

Colorado Pen Show goes from strength to strength. Great spirit and relaxed atmosphere. Attendees of all ages, from seasoned pros to 12 year-olds bursting with excitement. Table after twinkling table of pens, ink and more. What distinguishes this show from some of the others is the calm and unhurried pace. Huge thank you to the organizers who (once again) have put together a 1st class event. Thank you! My advice, if you can get to Denver for the last day (Sunday Oct 13) and you haven't already been: give it a go.
