Identifying A Vintage Waterman Fountain Pen (May Be)

This BHR pen is very short and didn't come with a cap. By the looks of it it may never had a cap to begin with. Compared to a waterman 52 1/2v , barrel is about as thick as the cap on the 52 1/2v and the pen is much shorter. Pen doesn't have waterman written on it but the end of the barrel does have the waterman ideal logo. There is no model name or number. Pen is an eyedropper and has the normal waterman spoon feed. I haven't had much luck pulling it out of the section so unsure which type it is. It looks like a pen from a signagraph machine. Although i am not sure about this.

It doesn't match the profile of the 12 :( its much thicker and have the step between the section and the barrel. on the 12 its a smooth transition. its also thicker then the lever filler 12 p.s.f and 14 p.s.f.

Nib is unfortunately not original. Should have had a number 2 nib. I currently have a number 4 canada nib on it to test.

That would be correct, they came in different versions some with fewer pens than others. There were also different pens used, some had caps. The pen that you have is the most common for these and it's hard to find caps for them. The diameter of the pen is similar to a Waterman 15, really it should be called a 15v given its size.
