Parker Vacumatic Lock Filler

Marten

Recommended Posts

Hi there!

Just finished working on a Vac Filler. Sadly it is not mine. I was approached by a colleague who knows that I use fountain pens to see if I would be able to repair his Grandmother's pen. On the cap band a date of 1938 was inscribed, alongside a short note to the person.

I still need to do some work on the nib as it appears to suffer from ink starvation. Nib looks like a broad to me but line width leans more towards medium. Well, for a Parker.

My apologies for the enthusiastic additional "u" in Vacu(u)matic in the image... Heh Heh...

Hi there FarmBoy.

I have not noticed any markings on the barrel, other than the markings on the cap and cap band. Where on the barrel would the marking have been placed? I just had another look and cannot see anything.
