Pens are like watches , once you start a collection, you can hardly go back. And pens like all fine luxury items do improve with time

I still want that goofy french calendar you have

 

Do you write at an angle? I can't really see much line variation but the pictures are making me think that's a 1.0-1.3mm stub.

I write at angle of 45-50° since I am 7 It is indeed a 1.0mm stub. I know you told me before about that calendar ;) . I have reground two other pens , one was a 149 which had a scratchy f/m nib turned into a nice f/ef and the other one was a french made vac with a nib with a slightly misaligned tine which I turned into a nice spencerian italic fine medium. I rarely regrind my nibs but when I have to,I do it.
