Waterman Model Identification

Looking to identify this model of vintage Waterman. Looks familiar, but I am thrown off by the equal size of both cap and body. Has anyone any idea on what model is this, please?

Any numbers stamped on the bottom? Looks like a special jewelers overlay possibly.

Much appreciated, guys. I'll have a look onto the end of the pen, to see if there are any markings.

Re "continental overlay"...can you be more specific? Does this means an Italian overlay onto a non-European manufactured fountain pen?

Many thanks!

Yes, "non official" work on a Waterman pen, made by italian jewellers for instance. Those overlays are mostly seen on safety pens, but also on lever fillers like your pen.

What are the overall dimensions? Almost looks like a 52V (with later overlay) to me.

Don't feel bad. I'm old; I'm meh about most things.
