Maybe that only something with my ink was wrong, but it clogged my P"51" after 1/2 year.

That is not Quink with solv-x! Parker made two inks that should never ever be put into any pen: the "superchrome" and this one, the "51", made specifically for the 51. Didn't take long for everyone to realize that not even the 51 could handle "51" ink... These inks corrode and clog pens like there's no tomorrow. These inks belong on shelves, they are only good for being looked at and kept for historic reference. This ink also corrodes the caps of the bottles..

Vintage Quink with solv-x (and modern Quink as well) is very safe and the vintage one is reputed to indeed keep your pen clean...

Here's a photo of the bottle. The label had fallen off so I leaned it against the bottle.

For love of it. And yet not waste time either.

Holy cow, the giant bottles then were just as interesting as the awesome art-deco ones! What a time to be alive, when interesting packaging was the norm! Though, shopping at Trader Joe's, they use lots of interesting bottles and jars in their house lines. Maybe they should make some fountain pen ink

Ah yes. Memories. I had a large bottle of Quink with solv x. (I think it was a pint? Possibly even a quart?) It had belonged to my late father. I used to decant it into a smaller Quink bottle (for ease of filling pens) and it lasted for years. I used it in nearly every pen I ever had - and never had a problem. Great ink!

Nice find, corgicoupe. Hope you enjoy using it.
