OOOO Pretty

Fountain pens are my preferred COLOR DELIVERY SYSTEM (in part because crayons melt in Las Vegas).

Anyone knows where to pick some of these up?

The reviewer referenced above says she bought three bottles from Taccia at the recent SF Pen Show. I see one color on the website of Anderson Pens. I believe they are just being released and will no doubt show up at dealers and on their internet sites or at shows within the next couple of months.

I really like how the marketing image seems to already show each ink's water resistance, instead of just conveying colour by way of a swatch!

Hmmm, I just had a quick look in the Rakuten Global Store, and it seems there is only one seller offering it at moment, but won't directly ship the product overseas (thus necessitating the use of a forwarding service). The unit price per volume for the Taccia inks is slightly higher than the old price for 50ml bottles of Sailor Jentle inks, since the former only comes in 40ml bottles; both are priced at 1,000 yen per bottle plus tax.

THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!

I just ordered a couple of bottles & appreciate your posting this notice. I am always happy when I order from Pen Chalet & am especially pleased to find them with something I have "been awaiting," in stock.

Vanness has them too, so with Anderson and Pen Chalet that makes three major outlets in the US that I know of. Others will no doubt follow. The 40 ml bottles are well priced at $12 apiece.

I was able to pick some up from the Taccia table at the recent Colorado Pen Show. Always nice to get it from the source, as it were. Lovely colors, and the squat bottles look good on the desk. I forgot to ask who actually makes the stuff.

In answer to an earlier point, Nakabayashi Co. has acquired Taccia, although Taccia's founder Shu-Jen Lin, familiar to many on the pen show circuit, remains a public face of the business.

Just picked up the Taccia (CHA). I have a Mont Blanc 149 with EF nib and it likes only wet inks. Pilot Iroshizuku ink works good and so does sailer gentle ink. I was however looking to find some fresh color and found this brand so I thought Id try it out. I am very happy with flow/wetnesss and the deep brown/red is darker than for example Daimie ancient copper. Flow is similar. The Taccia ink works great for very fine nibs giving a dark flow that has slight gradation to brown/red. Very pleasing. If you got a stubborn flow pen I recommend this brand. Also it works on nice to low grade paper.

oh boy another nice performing Japanese ink. Just bought all colors (except black) from Goldspot.

With the new FPN rules, now I REALLY don't know what to put in my signature.
