What Is The Rarest Vintage Parker Fountain Pen?

Excluding limited editions and things like that, what would you say is the rarest vintage Parker fountain pen?

I'm talking about pens you have never seen on eBay or maybe seen once and never again.

I was lucky enough to buy a "Golden Web" vacumatic at an estate sale last weekend. I've read that it is rare, but I do see that a couple have been on eBay recently.

I'm looking forward to reading this conversation!

There are some exceedingly rare eyeroppers from the late 1800s / early 1900s that I've never even seen a picture of. There was a thread similar to this not too long ago. See here: https://www.fountainpennetwork.com/forum/topic/313620-your-rarest-parker-pens-and-your-favorite/

Where would you like to start.

Rare as in non prototype - manufactured pen for sale to the public

Rare does not always means vastly high value

Pick a type / model of Parker pen

Also, the Parker Trench pen.

I am talking about Parkers that have been in like regular production. For example, I'd say the French made Parker 17 Lady's are quite rare as you never see them on eBay at least in UK, Canada, and USA.

This is literally a one-of-a-kind Vacumatic, so pretty rare on the rarity scale.

Okay, I'll bite. What's so special about it? Because it looks like a Brown Pearl to me.... Is it that that color isn't normally found in earlier models? (I'm guessing that because it appears from the blind cap size and shape to be a Lockdown or Speedline model. I mean, if it had that blind cap and was Azure Blue Pearl... yeah, that would be pretty unusual.

Ruth, it is the cap bands Small Large Small. If I'm correct Brian picked that one up in Janesville WI last Oct. at the big auction.

Thanks. I hadn't noticed the cap bands, so I didn't notice anything odd. What size is the pen?

There were two pens with that band style, one sold in Oct. the other sold in Nov. in part 2 of that big auction. I had a look at them at the time but my memory has miss filed the information. [ Bad recall ]http://www.badgerstateauction.com/Estate-Auction-Janesville-WI-October-8-2016/photos.htm

Here is the link. Photo 78 of 168 has the images.
