Winter Time! Show Me Your Favourite Pens For Snow Time

I was browsing FPN and came across some great pics of pens shot during winter time. After hours of lurking :ninja: it's time for me to share. Here it is - my favourite pen set for snowy days!

It's Pilot MR White Tiger inked with GvFC Stone Gray and Faber-Castell Writink in... white filled with FC Royal Blue. Both are great writers.

I'm wondering if this "fingerprint" can be easily remove... :glare:.

What's your favourite pen (or pens) for snow time?

How do you like your Writink? I was eyeing the black one on Cult Pens, but ultimately decided not to get it since I already owned a Loom. I don't think I'd care for the fingerprint, but I like the stealthy look and durability.

Wow! Great photos, Dave :). Can I ask you how did you manage to fill Vac Mini to THAT level? Mine doesn't go better than half of yours.

Thanks! Brian Goulet has a good video on how to top up a vac filler here!

I would have to offer fellow member Visvamitra's January 15 review of the Yard o Led, Viceroy Grand pen filled with the Kyo no oto ink Azukiira. I have never seen a more artful display of a pen emulating an elegant SNO CONE, with that beautiful ink glistening upon the frosted silver pen, He always shows pens against interesting setting , but THIS one captivates me!

Hi Inkfade! I've been using mine since September and I like it a lot. I went for two colors: one in white and one in black. The nibs are in F size and are rather on the firm side with a bit of feedback, which I love. Definitely keepers and perfect for a daily use. :)

I did some kind of customization to the black one. I've polished out the fingerprint, so the pen looks now a little bit more minimalistic.

I'm thinking about adding one more - blue - to the flock. B)

Thank you, Dave! This is a really, really helpful video.

That's a good point, Barkingpig!

No snow here. But if there was any, my Thierry Testut Nature (galalith and mapple) would be the one

For winter, with no snow, I will definitevly choose my Shawn Newton Prospector, ebonite

I have never seen a more beautiful Ebonite than the Shawn Newton Prospector. Is is a specially obtained Ebonite? I realise it is a "custom designed & made pen" but that is such an unusual material & the shape is obviously a great part of it's beauty. You surely designed a beautiful fountain pen.

Prospector is amazing! Didn't know that such colorful ebonite can be developed into one's custom pen. It seems that I'll need to talk to Shawn :).

Thanks for sharing!

Also I have few fun pictures of Hero 007 (no one seems to enjoy this pen - zero comments in the review :) )

Turquoise blue looks interesting :).

The ebonite is a Limited Edition by SEM.

I didn't design the pen. Shawn and the previous owner did it.

@ dare_nove: thank you. I know SEM does not have this ebonite anymore.
