I now get Pen World, Stylus & Writing Equipment Society Magazines. All are great magazines, but with different strengths:

If you want eye candy of the latest releases, the Pen World is what you want. However, it is extremely thin on vintage material.

Stylus, also gives a good photos & editorials, but tends to aim more at higher end pens than PW.

The WES is squarely aimed at vintage material, but is currently trying to review it's image for the next generation of collectors.

Personally, for me, the annual pen catalogues by Stylus tend to be the nearest that I want (more of a reference of releases), but no magazine seems to do it all, hence I have to collect each one ;)

Thanks for the information. It seems a shame that there is no publication directed at the "average" pen collector's reality.

If you are interested in vintage pens, don't overlook the PENNANT. It's the publication of the Pen Collectors of America. It's 64 pages, usually 16 in colros, and comes out 3 times a year. I was the editor for the last four issues and Anna Lawson, previously of Stylophiles, is now at the helm.
