Is This A Cross Metropolis?

I have this cross fountain pen that i need help with. Everything about it looks like a Metropolis except, the top of the cap is chrome, every picture I have seen of a Metropolis has black tip on the cap.

Can any one shed some light on this? Thanks

That's a Metropolis. Looks to be in nice shape. They are difficult to find looking that good. What is the nib made of? I have three of them. Love the way they write.

I wouldn't fret over the final on the cap. Cross offered these in varied color combinations. You have a very nice pen there.

Thanks for the confirmation. Its a medium gold point. No indication of the grade of gold though

The nibs are gold plated.
