Parker International Ballpoint Pen Refills

I recently

acquired a beautiful parker international ball point pen,

to go with my parker international fountain pen,

it writes very well,

but ! the refills (parker golden touch) are not made any more,

I rooted through the forums posts and found that the general recommendation was a brand called Schmidt 900 Ballpoint Pen Refills,

I hunted high and low to find them in the u.k,

as I was put off by the ones in the states ,the postage being very high!

I eventually found them on a well known online auction site,

£11.75 p for 10 inc postage,

they arrived today and are just the job,

the ink is clack in colour ,

broad in writing width,

smooth as silk in application,

I would recommend them to anyone .........................................

Actually go for Schmidt Easyfloow 9000, hybrid refills standard G2 Parker compatible! Cultpens has them, also Amazon.

If you have the chance you can try Inoxcrom gel refills from Amazon.

The Parker Quinkflow refill is also an excellent performer. It is available in fine and medium , blue and black ink.

Yes, Schmidt refills are nice. Indeed that P900 or the Easyflow 9000 mentioned above!
