That's a beauty, Markiv!I'am waiting for Astoria-Dix to be shipped, will post when arrives.

I've stumbled upon this scan by "lucky find" somehow. There was another similar document registering the famous "Astoria" typing.

Here is another Astoria... # 6 Safety, in its box with a nib 'Astoria 6 14 Ct New York'

Beautiful examples you guys!

Ariel, did not realize Astoria had nibs from NY. Perhaps sourced from Mortons?

I have not information about it, but I suspect it was Morton indeed, specially for the Safeties... I am adding three more Astoria and the Safety at the top also has a nib saying 'Astoria 1 14 Ct New York'...

I agree with kawuska, it seems those metal boxes were all the same size

Very nice example of an Astoria Dux, kawuska, I am glad the thread continues getting richer…

This is an Astoria BHR Safety # 10 ( 13.7 cm) I got about a year ago.

The attractive part, besides the size, is the fact that it has written in the cap “Gold-Fink”

My hypothesis is that while Mr. Goldfink was looking for a manufacturer for his pens, some prototypes were probably made for him… Not easy to find out.
