Today I was in my exam using my new LAMY 2000 inked with Diamine Onyx Black. I LOVE the LAMY 2000 but I am struggling a little with how skippy it can be. I'm guessing it's because it has a sweet spot I haven't quite found. My other pens allow me to write pretty much however I want without skipping. But I have a feeling it will become my favourite pen.

The Duke P06 arrived today. Inked with Chesterfield Rose. Black n' Red notebook. I'm calling this pen my "Think Pink."

Weight: Capped - 32g Length: 130mm. Diameter: 12mm

Uncapped - 20g

Cute Pocket/Purse Pen. Nib: #5 Medium nib; will need a bit of nib tweaking; good ink flow; attractive imprint on nib. Section Fine grooves (smooth). Do not dip section in ink, for it retains a bit of ink, which will wind up on the fingers. If you do dip section, clean thoroughly. Cap: Does post, however, I suspect it will scratch barrel if posted. Duke is imprinted on the side of the cap (silver). Clip is extremely snug.

Pulled out a couple Metropolitans. Inked the black one with Dromgoole's Texas Black Bat by Noodlers, and the silver one with some homebrew green – I think maybe Habanero and Blue eel I mixed together a year or two ago.

The pen in rotation today is Wality 69 EB (Teal Blue Ripple Ebonite) with custom ground fine Italic Nib. Wality 69 EB is ebonite iteration of the Wality 69 series and I have already reviewed the Acrylic model, Wality 69A. Currently it is inked with Camlin Permanent Black.

If you don't mind, will you tell me the name of the yellow barrel material.....

The material appears to my eye as translucent, is that so.? Did Manoj

have this in stock or did you provide?

Thank you for your consideration.

ASA Galactic with JoWo broad nib. Inked with Chesterfield Antique Crimson. Southworth Fine Parchment Paper. My ASA arrived in the mail 6/7 and now putting it thru its paces. Truly it is a wet nib, and will need to use a dryer ink. Will ink the pen with R&K Alt Goldgrun to see how it works. The nib is almost smooth as butter--for a steel nib. I already love the feel of this pen; the flow of the ink; and the smoothness of the nib. This is a WINNER!!   Thank you Mr. Subramaniam!!
