Fantastic collection.

I have been trying to add the Greenwich and the Bumblebee to my collection but they have got very expensive. The Bumblebee is now around £2000.

It is nice to look at them occasionally and give them a polish.

I too would be interested in knowing where you obtained the drawers. They are amazing.

You might try this link, I bought a Greenwich last summer from this man. Maybee he still has some more. Nice guy, collects Duofolds as well, has a shop and once visited the Newhaven plant.

Happy hunting,

Duofolds are very nice pens! I only have some modern duofold and no vintage unfortunately. I hope to find a nice original vintage duofold sometime.

Here is a picture of all my modern duofold pens. (almost all pens with a cap are fountainpens).

Sorry for the lousy picture.

wonderful collection of moderns, dutchpen!

i just had to add one more "duofold" myself to my collection this morning. i always say that i don't have too many grail pens left--and i don't, haha--but i keep stumbling into those few that i thought i'd never see. i had to pull the trigger when i saw this pen for sale on ebay--a chris thompson duofold senior replica--in bronze! chris thompson (one of our members here) is one of the world's best pen makers, and his duofold replicas are legend. i saw two of them for sale on ebay this morning (the other one is in stainless steel, with three cap bands); i tried to resist for a few hours but it was futile.... that bronze (i'm guessing it's really brass?) duofold kept calling out to me; i made an offer to the seller, which was accepted, and it shall soon be mine!

That color looks like it could be a beryllium copper alloy, but bronze is also quite possible.

For love of it. And yet not waste time either.

thanks. i've been doing some reading on chris thompson's work and it's very likely bronze, after all.

Hope this works. It's a photo of my older Duofolds: 1920s-30s. If it uploads, I'll photograph my Centenniels too. Sorry that it's upside down. I'm pretty inept with attachments. Hope you can enjoy the photos.

SORRY!

there's one on ebay right now (i don't think FPN rules allow me to post the link, but should be easy to find).

If you come across another Jose let me know.

Thanks

Since everyone is showing off their collection of Duofolds I thought I'd show mine. It's a very modest collection of Centennials to be sure. The pens are in chronological order with the oldest to the left. The earliest date code is PE for the Blue BP and PC for the black FP (1987).

There are four cap-actuated ballpoints. I believe that's all there was in the Centennial and International line. On the Parkerpens.com web site he only illustrates three of the four. The Marbled Green is not shown. I'm done adding to this collection. They're getting way too expensive.
