Waterman Inspired Blue

Generally considered as "safe", Waterman inks seem to receive less attention than other brands. I find this ink okay but not exciting at all.

Agreed, Waterman inks do seem to receive less attention than other brands but I'm a massive fan of two of them.

This colour was given to me but I only ever used it in mixes, lovely mixes mind but still mixes.

 

Their black is lovely and ever since the MB Blue Hour reviews came out I fell in love with Waterman's Mysterious Blue. It's not a blue black by any stretch of the imagination but it is a lovely ink to scribble notes with.

It's well behaved but prone to fading. Not my cup of tea.

Not my glass o' beer, either. But the one thing about it which we can all share is... if you've got problems writing with a new pen, use this ink. If you still have problems (including washing the ink out), it's not the ink, it's the pen.

I just got my first bottle recently, and it's one of my favorite inks. Color, shading, sheen, dry time, behavior -- they all work really well for me. I even dig the faceted, tip-when-the-ink-gets-low bottle. And so inexpensive! There's really just nothing I don't like about it.
