Quite some time ago, I purchased this pen at a flea market and just found it buried in a drawer the other day. I was told that due to anti-semitic sentiment among Saudi's, MB created this special logo to avoid any similarity to the Star of David. I have heard different and conflicting stories on this but it turns out the pen is rather rare so I thought I'd share before posting it on eBay. It writes quite smoothly in spite of the clearly deformed nib and for some reason, ink accumulates on the top of the nib if it sits for too long (even with the nib up). .

Your research is correct. These mainly date to about the 1970s. The nib is correct for that era. I'd have to see the feed to help date it more accurately.
