The above picture is from a listing that ended recently. The seller describes the pen as a "Grey Snorkel Statesman." He is a top rated seller who has sold thousands of fountain pens. Is he right the pen is "Grey"? It looks blue to me, a very desirable blue, second in rarity to a Fern Green Snorkel. What do you think?

Well, you know, if you saw it on the internet, it must be true. Unless you're talking about colors.

In this photo it certainly looks like that P color to me, but I've seen photos of pens on eBay that were listed as blue, green, and others, yet look black.

If this really is Periwinkle, someone is going to get a nice surprise.

Lighting plays tricks especially with grey, which the above post correctly points out this pen is. Another feature of the Periwinkle Snorkel is matching section which this pen lacks.

Mandarin Orange and Peacock do not have matching sections. Now, I have to remember the Periwinkle has same colour section. Maybe I'm a dichromat. Thanks, learning new things.

BUT I found this on a well-known doctor's website:

Now, I still don't know anything!
