"year Of The Pig" Fountain Pens

Are there any "Year of the Pig" fountain pens? I did a search and couldn't come up with anything.

I was perusing FPN and came across this post about a Horse and Dragon pen:

https://www.fountainpennetwork.com/forum/index.php/topic/260671-jinhao-950-porcelain-horse-dragon/

And I found another Dragon pen, a Jinhao, on Amazon:

http://www.amazon.com/Advanced-Fountain-Jinhao-Dragon-Golden/dp/B00CBCISYK/ref=lh_ni_t?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=APS0EDXFZ5VE3

I'm looking for a "Year of the Pig" themed fountain pen along these lines, something not very expensive.

Dragons are hoter than pigs...

True that. LOL

My SIL is a Dragon, so getting finding her a dragon pen would be easy.

Maybe in 4 or five years - next year is goat, then monkey, rooster (my year), dog then pig. A few years ago Noodler's did a Year of the Golden Pig highlighting ink but I'm not sure I've seen a pig pen... :lticaptd: ...Sorry, I just couldn't help myself.

I bet pink jade pens would sell like hot buns... just like pink diamonds, pink champagne, etc. etc. etc. ... Hey! Maybe that's what this year's Lamy of the Year is all about!

Faye, I honestly don't know, but I would think if anybody were going to make a pen for the Year of the Pig, it would be a Chinese pen company...

The nicest year of the (insert Chinese zodiac sign here) pens I've seen have been made by Japanese pen companies; most others, including Cross and S.T. Dupont look cheap to me.

I guess I will wait and see if one of the Chinese pen makers come out with one.

Mmmmm .... Roast pig. It has been a long time since I had roast pig from a Chinese shop. Loved the crispy skin.

i was making a pig pen awhile back ago to fit in one of those japanese jumbo pens. i never got a chance to cast it because i ran out of resin. i have gone back and forth about how i want to color it. some days i think it would be best all black but i was also thinking about gold leafing the finished cast section so its a totally gross and opulent ink spitter.

Fountain Pens: Still cheaper than playing Warhammer 40K

Dragon is pretty common noms down here in Florida where we have to cull them periodically once they get big enough to eat pit bulls. Or tourists.

Montegrappa made the only year of the boar I like and it ain't cheap.

Pens are like watches , once you start a collection, you can hardly go back. And pens like all fine luxury items do improve with time
