Twsbi Mini Leaking?

Recommended Posts

I bought a TWSBI Mini several months ago and about a month ago I cleaned it out and put it away as the school year just ended.

I recently inked it up again and left it in my bag for a day and the next day when I used it there was ink all over the grip section. Ink has been seeping into the nib unit: http://i.imgur.com/pcr6hLL.jpgand then seeping through the part where the body meets the grip.

Does anyone know the cause of this type of leak?

I just found where it is leaking.

The leak is coming from under where the "O-ring" is.

Is this leak common?

I purchased this pen from Goulet Pens; would they or TWSBI send a replacement nib?

I e-mailed TWSBI and they replied saying that I need a new feed holder. I had thought that the feed couldn't be removed?

sometimes its just a tight fit I find my nib and feed are now quite loose for easy removal but still firm that they hold together not sure if it's because it's dry or not...

though I would still complain that the feed they use is on the fragile side especially the exposed fins... I think they can do better but eh... something say like a scmidt feed
