Waterman Audace Fountain Pen Enchanted Garden

Does anyone know where I could buy one of these pens? They are so very beautiful but I can't find them anywhere. I have tried Google, Amazon and Ebay.

Thank you for any help!

It is strange. This is the one Waterman pen I never see in the wild, either - modern Watermans of all kinds turn up in car boots in England and France, but not the Audace.

So I can't help, other than to say there is a dearth of these pens everywhere. (Maybe, somewhere, there is a secret hoard of Audace pens with a pen-collecting mini-Me gloating over them....)

Too many pens, too little time!

You're right!
I bought one on ebay a couple of years ago but rarely see them about.

Great size and I loved the nib; blessed thing failed to write more than two or three lines though.
I tried everything, cleaning, ink, nib adjustment, converter, different cartridge manufacturer but no joys.

I was told that they have a "breathing" issue (whatever that means) which perhaps could be why they're not sold on - ?

I have since used it's nib in one pen and it's feed in another.

It's barrel, cap and section sit in a box quite lonely in the hope of some Frankensteinesque resurrection one day.

I keep the Audace in my saved searches on ebay, as I am looking to increase my small collection, but as you say, they rarely seem to come up for sale. Sometimes you can get the ball points, but very rarely the fountain pens. Prices are going up too, on the rare occasions they do come up for sale.

this is my collection so far -

I have an aqua coloured Waterman Audace FP and a blue RB.

The FP sometimes stops writing. It needs wet ink. It´s not a dry pen. It just stops. Don´t know why. I have the same problem in my other Watermans as well.

I have a pink Audace FP, and I absolutely love it. The one I have is a rather dry pen, but writes perfectly fine. Even after a week or so of not using it, it starts right up. I use long international cartridge refilled with random purple inks (currently J. Herbin Violette Pensee.)

Bought one NOS last year as a stock-clearance from my usual B&M store (LaCduC).

Haven't inked it yet. It comes in it's little kimono.

It is fairly small (not as small as the Ici-et-la...)

I suppose it has always been a Niche-pen. You only buy it if you really want it...

In my case I did not really want it but for the price it was nice to have in my collection.

Great idea!

I just sent them an email. We'll see what they say!

Not an answer, but as I was looking up some references I found Online produces something that looks, well, rather like an Audace... a couple of them at discounted prices here:

Those are cute too!

That will not happen soon. I have no intention of inking it in the near future, though it is not my intention of keeping it pristine forever...
