Pelikan P1 Piston Removed?

Hi all

I have a Pelikan P1 that is starting to stiffen up a little when filling so I need to get the filler out to clean and grease it up.

How do you get the piston mechanism out on these pens.

Thanks for any tips.

Paul

The piston is press fit like the M200.

Rather soak the whole pen and work the piston while the pen is submerged to get the old ink out from behind the piston.

You should then be able to use a toothpick as a 'screw' in the hole in the back of the feed to pull the nib and feed and grease the piston from the front like the other piston fillers.
